My little brother Robert — brother-in-law to my wife, uncle to our kids, and son to my parents — was the innocence of our family. He loved every moment with his nephews, and the smiles he had holding them are memories we will cherish forever. He loved his independence, his sense of freedom, and the simple moments — like sneaking into the kitchen to make sure the food had the right amount of ingredients, even though we all knew he was really there to take the first bites.
Gone far too soon, you will be missed more than words can say. Whether I see you in spirit in this life or at the gates in the next, I’ll see you again soon, little brother. Rest easy.
